Had an absolutely wonderful time reading to the students and faculty at Wallace State Community College in Dothan, AL. Words cannot express my gratitude to Brandi Wallace and all the folks involved in bringing me to Wallace. Praise to the folks who made this possible: Brandi Wallace, President Young, Dr. Mixson who provided the grant to bring writers to Wallace State, Ms. Leslie Reeder, Dr. Denise Stanford-Bowers, Dr. Tracy Brooks, and Steve Adkinson. for their wonderful hospitality, especially Brandi for her belief in me and for her students who came to the reading and studied my work.
Thank you to Sarah and CC for their incredible poetry, and for everyone who came to the workshop. Thank you to all the other folks who brought me to Wallace. You fine folks really made this simple poet feel like a Rock Star!
